We believe in using the highest technology available to be able to do our job better, more informative and involving for our clients, and to the highest level of accuracy and precision. Today many firms boast "going green", but what exactly is this? Do they have any ability to really analyze a design with hard numbers? WE DO.
SARCO Design-Build is the most experienced firm in Costa Rica in the use of BIM (Building Information Modeling), which we use to its fullest potential in order to perform our project with our Integrated Project Delivery philosophy. Because of our extensive experience in this regard our clients benefit from:
- Perfectly coordinated sets of final drawings, without huge mistakes done in obsolete 2D drawings.
- Completely real virtual walkthroughs that the client can do in his/her own computer which allows you to fully visualize the design before it's built.
- Perform mathematical energy analysis of our designs, and have the ability to change the design and analyze the impact on the energy footprint of the design.
- Modeling of project systems into the architectural model to detect and solve problems with HVAC, plumbing, etc., and not have those problems come up in construction.
- Ability to create any view at any time, for the client, for the builder, etc.
Our experience in using BIM software if that it greatly enhances our performance as Design-Builders, giving us the ability to know and solve all of the intricacies of a project while on the drawing boards - or screen, for that matter.
We have reduced to a minimum the change orders required for our projects, since using BIM allows our clients the ability to fully understand the design being proposed. This eliminates the traditional client-generated change orders during construction caused by owners not fully interpreting traditional 2-D drawings.
